Episode 088: Reversing Burnout 5 Years Later: What’s Changed… and What’s Not

About

Today’s episode of the AEC Leadership Today podcast is another special solo episode, this time focusing on “change” – specifically, what’s changed and what’s not in terms of work and our ability to grow and prosper in the five years since I wrote Reversing Burnout

Reversing Burnout 5 Years Later: What’s Changed… and What’s Not

There’s been so much change, and so much continues today… but when was the last time you took inventory, made a list, and studied the change?

Well, this has been done – and the results have been a “game changer”.

For a variety of reasons, I recently reread my first book Reversing Burnout. How to Immediately Engage Top Talent and Grow! cover-to-cover for the first time in several years.

Examining the results changed the trajectory of my new and upcoming book on ReDesigning Work… and now you can listen in and begin to assess how ‘where we’ve been’ and ‘where we are’ can help you to succeed with ‘what’s next’.

And, as shared, you can also tune in over the coming months for even more insight on how you and your team can more effectively and strategically grow and prosper in this new era – and do so without missing out or burning out, either individually or organizationally.

“… and when the list was done and I took a step-back to study it – to see the scope and magnitude of all the change – it was eye-opening, affirming, and empowering at the same time.”

— Peter C. Atherton, P.E.

Here’s your downloadable list of what’s changed and what’s not in terms of work and burnout to both follow along with and reflect on:

“The changes tell a story. There are threads throughout all these elements that connect. There are also threads that connect directly to what I see in my planning, coaching, and consultant work, as well as threads that connect through many of our podcast episodes extending back well before COVID.”

— Peter C. Atherton, P.E.

There’s certainly more to dig into and share, particularly in terms of the implications and opportunities of all this change.

… and the good news is that this is coming soon; so please stay tuned for more!

As Pete mentioned, he plans to share specific insights and details on how to better grow and prosper this new era directly with you through this podcast, as well as in upcoming blogs and events – each designed to highlight many of the new ideas and concepts contained in his upcoming book on ReDesiging Work
